Peter was born in Southern Austria, July 25, 1946, just one year after his family escaped the communist invasion of Yugoslavia. Fortunately, his family managed to get to a safe place called Westminster, in the Republic of California.

Peter attended locally famous Mater Dei High School, and remains a solid supporter of their athletic programs. He then earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from UCLA in 1969, specializing in Operations Research and Statistics. As with Mater Dei, Peter is a huge fan of UCLA athletics, citing John Wooden as a major influence on his life and philosophy.

Finished with his formal education, he then worked as a pension administrator for Connecticut Mutual, and Fidelity Mutual for ten years where he learned the trade inside and out.

Then, in 1981, Peter struck out on his own, and PMZ Pension Corporation was born, deriving the company name from his initials Peter M. Zebot.

A full service pension administration company now retained by over 600 companies across the country, PMZ is a fee based service provider for pension creation, administration, and termination.
